Our mission is to provide 100% English bred carp with proven growth potential and quality that will enhance any fishery at a UK competitive price.

Cambridge Carp was born out of a requirement to restock fish for our own lakes in the Cambridge area. Following the transfer of stock ponds and purchase of equipment from a successful fish farm with 20 plus years in depth experience of restocking lakes throughout the country and the subsequent rebranding to Cambridge Carp we soon found ourselves in the position of harvesting far to many fish for our own needs. Now 6 years later we are harvesting C5 and C6 fish for sale on an annual basis, the majority being between 15 and 25lb with a few larger examples.

Cambridge Carp is a CEFAS registered fish farm maintaining industry defined standards for the production, development and transportation of our stock. Our CEFAS approved biosecurity policy has been developed to protect the health of our fish and minimise the risk of disease and parasite transmission, providing an environment for our fish to fulfil their initial growth potential ensuring a strong and healthy stock. The fish farm is inspected by CEFAs at least annually, to ensure that agreed standards are maintained. We also contract independent Fish health experts to independently examine the health of our fish and identify this to CEFAs.
